Description
Our fish come from the pristine waters off the coast of Southeast Alaska by Captain Lindsay and her family aboard the wooden troller f/v Sika. Each fish is caught by hook and line then immediately bled, cleaned and packed in ice. The catch is then filleted, portioned, vacuum sealed and flash frozen at our trusted shore-based processor in the town of Pelican.
This attention to detail means that our fish taste better. Even after a year in the freezer, they’re as good as the day they were caught. Our fishery is the only commercial salmon fishery in Alaska that can make this claim, every other gear group use nets, smashing the delicate flesh and the marinating them in their own guts until they get transported back to town and processed at the plant. That’s the secret why our fish doesn’t taste fishy!
We offer 30 and 50 pound boxes of King or Coho salmon to suit any freezer, family or friend group size. Sharing an order with others is the best way to get the most delicious fish per dollar. Buying directly from us means that your money supports fishing families and small coastal communities and bypasses the large corporate fish processors.
Thanks for supporting sustainable family fisheries!
